On October 23, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra invites you to a very special evening to launch the Symphonic Forest project. In collaboration with the “My Forest Armenia” NGO, a symbolic forest will soon be planted in Armenia to celebrate eternal life and mark the Orchestra’s 20th anniversary.

The concert will feature works inspired by the beauty of nature, including:

Edward Grieg – Excerpts from Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, Op. 46
Edward Elgar – Cello Concerto in E minor, Op. 85, performed by Raphaela Gromes
Intermission
Pyotr Tchaikovsky – Symphony No. 1 in G minor, Op. 13 “Winter Daydreams”
Conductor for the evening is Sergey Smbatyan.
