Erected in the Ring Park opposite the building of Yerevan State University. Dedicated to the First Artsakh Liberation War (1988-1994).

It is a sculptural khachkar carved from red tuff. The pedestal is made of basalt.

On the northern facade is engraved:

“IN MEMORY OF THE ARTSAKH LIBERATION STRUGGLE”

and on the southern facade:

“FROM ARTHUR ZAKARYAN - SON OF HOVHANNES FROM JUGHA.”

The surrounding area is landscaped.

It is one of the interesting examples of contemporary khachkar art.
