The
monument is located along the Yerevan-Etchmiadzin highway and was constructed
in 1966. The monument features three large, parallel gables with triangular
outlines, all connected by a central bronze sculpture of an eagle with
outstretched wings.
The
eagle is depicted with a steady gaze and detailed wings. Its head is adorned
with a sun sculpture, and a grape leaf, a symbol of Armenia, is shown on its
chest. The eagle grasps construction tools— a straight wire and a hammer— in
its claws, symbolizing the strength and creative spirit of the Armenian people.
The height of the monument is 15 meters.
