MONUMENT TO MOVSES KHORENATSI

The
monument to the historian Movses Khorenatsi (5th century) is located in front
of the main building of YSU, at 1 Alek Manukyan Street.
The
majestic sculpture is placed on a rectangular platform. It is made of two large
pieces of basalt. The historian is sitting on a rock, holding his renowned work "History of the Armenians". The height is
about 3 m.
The
monument is distinguished by its grandeur and has historical value.
