The monument to the leader of the Armenian national
liberation movement of the 19th-20th centuries, Andranik Zoravar (Andranik
Ozanyan) is located on Tigran Mets Avenue, near the St. Gregory the Illuminator
Mother Church.
The ceremonial opening took place on December 25, 2002.
The monument is made of bronze and basalt, the height with the pedestal
is 9.5 m.
