MONUMENT IN MEMORY OF THE VICTIMS OF THE YEREVAN-SOCHI FLIGHT

The
monument dedicated to the memory of the 113 passengers and crew members of the
Yerevan-Sochi passenger plane that crashed in the Black Sea in 2006 is located
in the 5th district of Nor Nork. It is built of yellow tuff. The memorial
complex depicts a flock of flying birds, symbolizing the lives lost in the
tragic accident. The birds are positioned as if they are flying towards the
sky.
