statue of King Tiridates I, the first
Arshakuni of the Parthian royal dynasty, is made of tuff.
Tiridates I reigned in the
Arshakuni Kingdom of Greater Armenia from 52. Officially, the beginning of his
reign is considered to be 66, when he was proclaimed king by the Roman Emperor
Nero.
