statue of King Tiridates I, the first Arsacid (Arshakuni) royal dynasty, is made of tuff.
Tiridates I reigned in the
Arsacid Kingdom of Greater Armenia from 52. Officially, the beginning of his
reign is considered to be 66, when he was proclaimed king by the Roman Emperor
Nero.
